The Saved Iridot

A beautiful, ammonite, fossil, an extinct mullet from over 300 million years ago. From the Devonian to the end of the Cretaceous period they often relate to modern octopus. This beautiful piece is petrified and preserved and sliced down the middle, wrapped in copper with a beautiful Ethiopian opal in the center to be a one of a kind show stopping piece.
